JCPS bus crash on Brownsboro road hurts nine

A vehicular accident involving JCPS bus #0157 and a Mazda Protégé at the intersection of Brownsboro Road and Birchwood in Louisville, Kentucky around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21 wounded and hospitalized nine people.

The school bus, which was carrying elementary school students from Atkinson, King, and Roosevelt-Perry, did not sustain much damage from the crash, while the car was heavily damaged due to the incident.

Seven students from the JCPS bus were taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital for an injuries of unknown condition, while two people from the car who suffered from life-threatening injuries were brought to the University Hospital.
