14-year-old girl dies in motorcycle accident

Posted on June 20th, 2011 No Comments

A 14-year-old girl from Paducah died recently after a motorcycle accident occurred in McCracken County.

The girl was riding on the back of a motorcycle that was driven by a 38-year-old man. According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, the two were traveling at the intersection of Husbands and Old Husbands Road when the driver of the motorcycle hit some loose rocks in the road and lost control of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle rolled over several times, resulting in the serious injuries of the 14-year-old girl, who was not wearing a helmet. She was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital, where she died.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with the friends and family of the young girl who died in this accident.
